How has everyone been?
I hadn't updated since January. I could use a new journal...
Anywho, school has been crazy (nine days left till my Senior year is finished!
), and I've had so much going on over here that I've hardly had the time to do a whole lot. But! Hopefully I can get some drawings in, since I"ve got a few WIP's going on right now. And plus, since I've been brainstorming this for a while now, I've decided to try a little LoZ-related project known as Freedom Fighters.
Freedom Fighters is like a cross between Wind Waker and OoT. It's about Princess Zelda, who wishes to travel the world and see all of Hyrule, but she can't, because she's always having to stick around the castle and do royal duties and what not. But then, there's a riot and Ganondorf takes the Hyrule throne. Zelda, Matt, Impa, and a few others try to escape from him; Ganondorf is hunting for Zelda and Matt because they possess something that he needs in order to obtain ultimate power. Somewhere in Hyrule Field, they are ambushed by some of Ganondorf's minions. Zelda thinks this really is the end, but at the last minute she and her friends are saved by a rebellion force known as the Freedom Fighters, led by none other than Link and Caroline, who are loyal to the true rulers of Hyrule: Zelda's family. Zelda decides to lend a hand to stop the new Evil King's tyranny, and together she, Link, Caroline and Matt travel around Hyrule to help the rebellion grow and unite all in Hyrule to bring back peace.
The thing about this story is that while there are Spiritual Stones, the Ocarina of Time, and the six Sages from OoT, I also want to try and incorporate some things from WW as well. I'm going to add the other sages from WW, as well as the Pearls, the Tower of the Gods, etc.. (Because I'm starting to fall in love with WW all over again. xD)
Then I've got a couple of other drawings here and there that I'll try to get done and uploaded. Once school is over I'm going to be looking for a job over the summer (since I'll be the other kid in my family going to college!) so I need to work to help support my family and all. Things are going to be pretty busy for a good long while...
Other than that, things are starting to look up! Thanks to God for everything.
And all being said, I'm off. Thanks for everything, guys. Take care and God bless!
